LOL!!

This one always gets me!

Conversation with AT&T.

You are now chatting with 'Shayla K'

Shayla K: Welcome to AT&T Premier Support. I am reading your question and will be right with you.

Shayla K: To clarify, you would like information about the family data plans correct?

monty: My wife and I have received conflicting information. I had been told that if I chose the Family data unlimited that we would both have access to the internet. She was told that each of us would have to add it to our lines and that data packages are not shareable. If that is the case then my next question would be Why is it called "Family" Data unlimited?

Shayla K: I'd be more than happy to assist you with this.

Shayla K: The Family Data plan is $10 per line. However, the data plan is not available for PDA devices.

monty: How is that so? It is not even an option for the second line.

monty: If it is of any assistance I am on a university discount link for AT&T premier

Shayla K: The $10 per line will not show in the cart.

Shayla K: However, it is $10 per line.

Shayla K: What are the two phones you have added to the cart?

monty: Samsug a777s

Shayla K: Yes, the data plan would be $10 per line, rather then adding it individually and paying $15 per line

monty: However it is only listed as an option for the first line and is NOT included either on the cart or on the estimated monthly charges

monty: 700 minutes - 60, family data - 10, Messaging unlimited for groups - 30, Nation Family talk additional line - 9.99 = 100.99

Shayla K: Yes, we are aware that pricing only shows $10 for the first line, however you will need to add an additional $10 to the estimated bill for the second line.

Shayla K: Plus an additional $10 for the second lines data plan.

monty: If that is the case and you are not disclosing the full price of your service then I will remain with my current carrier.

Shayla K: I apologize for the inconvenience.

Shayla K: Do you have any questions regarding the information we discussed today?

monty: Has there been any consideration to fully disclosing the cost of your services?

Shayla K: We apologize for the inconvenience for the $10 for the additional lines not being disclosed with the pricing estimation during checkout, as well as not being to provide you the monthly cost for tax and fees, however we can only ask that you add the $10 for the second line to the $100.99 estimate price and the 10%-15% to the estimated price as well.

monty: Taxes are understandable and explained. However, not fully disclosing the cost of services rendered and allowing someone to find out on their first bill in inexcusable. I am sure that I am not the only one to find this practice deplorable.

Shayla K: Do you have any questions regarding the information we discussed today?

Be warned

On May 26th I called our home warranty place to have someone come look at our failing A/C unit. Two weeks later and they still can't find anyone to come look at it! Their contract promises someone on site in 24-48 hours. I have requested my money back since they obviously have no plan to assist me and the say that there is no provision in the contract for dissatisfied service! How about NO SERVICE! This is a scam and everyone should stay away! I'm calling my lawyer this afternoon and anticipate a lot of trouble from them in even refunding my money. It may cost me that much just to get it back but these people are so dishonest and dirty in their business practices that it will be well worth it.

Incredible find!

AL JIZAH, EGYPT—A team of British and Egyptian archaeologists made a stunning discovery Monday, unearthing several intact specimens of "skeleton people"—skinless, organless humans who populated the Nile delta region an estimated 6,000 years ago.

An archaeologist examines the intact remains of a spooky "skeleton person."

"This is an incredible find," said Dr. Christian Hutchins, Oxford University archaeologist and head of the dig team. "Imagine: At one time, this entire area was filled with spooky, bony, walking skeletons."

"The implications are staggering," Hutchins continued. "We now know that the skeletons we see in horror films and on Halloween are not mere products of the imagination, but actually lived on Earth."

Standing at the excavation site, a 20-by-20-foot square pit along the Nile River, Hutchins noted key elements of the find. "The skeletons lived in this mud-brick structure, which, based on what we know of these people, was probably haunted," he said. "Although we found crude cooking utensils in the area, as well as evidence of crafts like pottery and weaving, we are inclined to believe that the skeletons' chief activity was jumping out at nearby humans and scaring them. And though we know little of their language and means of communication, it is likely that they said 'boogedy-boogedy' a lot."

Approximately 200 yards west of the excavation site, the archaeologists also found evidence of farming.

"What's puzzling about this," Cambridge University archaeologist Sir Ian Edmund-White said, "is that skeletons would not benefit from harvested crops, as any food taken orally would immediately fall through the hole behind the jaw and down through the rib cage, eventually hitting the ground. Our best guess is that they scared away a group of human farmers, then remained behind to haunt the dwelling. Or perhaps they bartered goods in a nearby city to acquire skeleton accessories, such as chains, coffins and tattered, dirty clothing."

Continued Edmund-White: "The hole in that theory, however, is that a 1997 excavation of this area which yielded extensive records of local clans and merchants made no mention of even one animated mass of bones coming to town for the purpose of trade. But we are taking great pains to recover as much of the site as possible, while also being extremely careful not to fall victim to some kind of spooky skeleton curse."

As for what led to the extinction of the skeletons, Edmund-White offered a theory.

"Perhaps an Egyptian priest or king broke the curse of the skeletons, either by defeating the head skeleton in combat or by discovering the magic words needed to send their spirits back to Hell," Edmund-White said. "In any case, there is strong evidence that the Power of Greyskull played a significant role in the defeat of the skeleton people."

According to Hutchins, the skeletons bear numerous similarities to humans, leading him to suspect that there may be an evolutionary link between the two species.

"Like humans, these creatures walked upright on two legs and possessed highly developed opposable thumbs," Edmund-White said. "These and many other similarities lend credence to the theory that hundreds of thousands of years ago, human development passed through a skeletal stage. These skeletons may, in fact, be ancestors of us all."

"Any of us could be part skeleton," he added.

Other experts disagreed.

"The evidence of an evolutionary link between humans and skeletons is sparse at best," said Dr. Terrance Schneider of the University of Chicago. "Furthermore, it is downright unscientific to theorize that skeleton life originated in Egypt merely because mummies, another species of monster, are indigenous to the area. Spooky creatures are found all over the world, from the vampires of Transylvania to the headless horsemen of Sleepy Hollow."

Correct! The "Arabs" Don't Want Peace

This came from here.

Read this editorial by Jeff Jacoby here.

WHO FAVORS a two-state solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict?

The consensus, it would seem, is overwhelming. As Henri Guaino, a senior adviser to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, put it on Sunday: "Everyone wants peace. The whole world wants a Palestinian state."

It isn't going to happen.

International consensus or no, the two-state solution is a chimera. Peace will not be achieved by granting sovereignty to the Palestinians, because Palestinian sovereignty has never been the Arabs' goal. Time and time again, a two-state solution has been proposed. Time and time again, the Arabs have turned it down.

So why you might ask would "Arabs" turn down every deal they have ever been offered including a Palestinian state?

The elephant in the room that is not mentioned is Islam. Or at least some basic principals in the Koran that we somehow just don't seem to get. I was looking at the nutty Aussie Youtube guy last week talk about the "sekrit zionist khinspiracy" to rule the world. That is an often repeated line in anti-semite, leftist and Islamist rhetoric.

But no one mentions the overtly naked and open requirements in Islam that it establish its dominance over the Kuffar and establish a global caliphate and rule the world under Sharia law.

In fact the leftists would be red with rage (and righrfully so) if anyone suggested modern people live under Papal law, but somehow a system that is just as if not more repressive than inquisition gets a noble savage pass

But don't take my word for it. The Islamists and terror supports say it openly and without shame.

The above article mentions the Pope so to see just what the Muslims, or at least some Muslims believe is required of the Pope to make them happy.

See this anonymoused link to Yousef al-Khattab's website.

The disbeliever must be submissive to Islam. He either enters Islam, or pays the Jizya(tax). If the Jews or Christians want to live in Palestine, they must abide by the Islamic law and respect it. They must either accept Islam or pay Jizya. Otherwise, there is no compromise.
So all the Pope has to do is pay the Jizya and declare that Islam is superior to Catholicism and then there can be a temporary peace. How long does that pace last? Well until the Muslims can conquer Rome.
Another condition for peace is that it has to be in accordance with the Quran andSunnah, otherwise, the peace treaty would not be valid. The peace treaty cannot proclaim “peace forever” since that would nullify our obligation of jihad. The pope encouraged the denouncement of Jihad when he “Called on the Palestinians to resist any temptation to resort to acts of violence in what is being seen as his strongest public support yet for Palestinian statehood.”

“I make this appeal to the many young people throughout the Palestinian territories today,” he said.

“Do not allow the loss of life and the destruction that you have witnessed to arouse bitterness or resentment in your hearts.”, he said.

This is nonsense! Allah says in the holy Quran “Jihad (holy fighting in Allah’s cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it…” (1:215)

So that's the deal that the Pope gets. So what about the Jews? What about Israel.
This land is not for the Palestinians, Arabs, nor Israelites; Palestine is for the Muslims. Every Prophet that came fulfilled his duty protecting it; All Prophets from the time of Prophet Ibraheem alayhi assalam, Musa, Yusuf, Dawuud, Sulayman, to Prophet Muhammad, Sal Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. All were prophets of Allah, and Allah says in the Quran “The religion with Allah is Islam” (3:19). There are some misunderstandings that Prophet Noah or Ibraheem (Aberham) were the “Prophets of the Jews.” The Holy Quran states that “Ibrahim (Aberham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism-to worship none but Allah alone)” (3:67). So Palestine is not for the Palestinians to do as they please with it, nor is it for the Jews, but it is the land that Allah ordained for the true believers.
Note "Muslim Lands" are any place that has ever been or will ever be under Muslim rule. Muslims' obligation is to retake all lands that were ever under Muslim rule and expand the caliphate.

So at what point will the Muslims stop and have peace with the Jews?

It should be clear to us that the animosity the Jews had towards the Muslims at the time of Prophet Muhammad Sal Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam will continue until the end of time. There can be a cessation of hostility and disengagement of the army, but the state of war will always exist. We should never take them as allies. As Allah says in the Quran, “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Aulia’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliya’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them asAulia’, then surely he is one of them.” (5:51)
Just so we're clear on that, he means Never ever ever. So you can go around talking Peace process all you want, its all hot air without addressing the root of the cause. The Jews are alive and have a state. This is the problem Muslims ooops I mean Arabs have with the state of Israel.

President Marcus Brody

You know the scene at the end of the last crusade when Marcus Brody yells to Indiana and Henry Jones, "Follow me! I know the way!" as they are making their way out of the valley of the crescent moon? Henry looks and Indy and says "Got lost in his own museum huh?"

I wonder if Marcus Brody would cut 17 billion from our budget, add 81 billion in new spending, then tell everyone that he is actually reducing the budget and that over the next 10 years this 81 billion will generate 26 billion? Further more, would anyone believe him?

But there is NO WAY we would ever elect a presendent that can't even do simple arithmetic. Right?

“These savings, large and small, add up.” PBO

BTW - my part of this year's budget $11,300, nearly 1/3 my annual salary.

Only in Oklahoma

So a man in Spencer OK breaks into someone's house and messing around in the the room of a sleeping minor. When he is startled by someone else moving around he runs out of the house and jumps on his HORSE to escape!
Police catch his a few minutes later but have to let him go because they don't have enough evidence to hold him.

Stop! Your under arrest!

It wasn't me! It was some other creepy man matching my description riding a horse in this same direction in the middle of the night.

Oh, well, carry on then.

May the fourth be with you!

Happy Star Wars Day! Even though no one follows this I am more than happy to write to myself.
If I were a Jedi I would like to think I would be very similar to Obi-Wan but I would more than likely be like Jacen Solo (Darth Caedus).

Oh well, sith the season to be jawa. (insert nerdy giggle and possible snort)
In honor of today you should check out Wookieepedia.
